Coloring illustrations on Voyou Magazine!
From today it's possible to download three printable coloring illustrations that
I made for Voyou Magazine's young readers. Together comes an interview too.
These are my recommendations..... :)
1. Print the coloring images on an A4 matte heavyweight paper, 250 g/m2 if possible;
2. Take some water, a round paintbrush and 1-3 shades of watercolor paint: Carmine Red, Ultramarine Blue and/or Lemon Yellow (I recommend Stockmar paint, but artist’s watercolor paint in a tube works well, too.)
3. Do a little test before starting... take an extra paper where trying the shades that she/he prefers.... Wipe excess water off paper with clean, soft tissue. Make sure there are no puddles of water on the paper, and wipe away any air bubbles. Paper should have a sheen to it, but not be soaking wet.
You want to model this technique for young children, so make sure you have set up all supplies for yourself and your child/ren.
Have each painter’s place set up with:
- • a painting board and paper
- • jar of water
- • jar(s) of paint
- • a rag

La bambina e il mare
The smell of the sea, the breeze... Oh! I'm looking forward to see my sea again, after many months, walking with my dear ones on the beach, finding some little treasures.
Today I give you this cute fragment, where I remembered the sea scent of Santa Severa, close to Rome .
